Q: What can I expect during a session with Christina?

Before your first session you will fill out an intake form that gives you an opportunity to clarify the issues that you want to address. At your first appointment, Christina will discuss these with you in order to determine your specific goal for the session. This discussion can be as in-depth as you want, or you can just define the goal and move straight to the Limit Clearing or Balancing Processes.
If your goal includes releasing painful memories or healing trauma, or if it involves something private or embarrassing from your past, you do NOT have to discuss it with Christina. You can just name the “issue” that you are wanting to work on and she can begin muscle testing to determine which kinds of processes and belief statements will be the most appropriate and efficient for making the changes you want to make.
Christina will then lead you through the Limit Clearing and Balancing processes by giving simple instructions for body positions or movements that create a Whole-Brain State. While you are in this state of heightened communication between the hemispheres of the brain, she will direct you through the process of replacing your self-limiting beliefs with new beliefs that are supportive of your chosen goals.
The PSYCH-K and Level UP processes are EXPERIENCES that really defy description. The easiest way to understand how to do the processes is to DEMONSTRATE them which is why video chat and in-person appointments are ideal. A typical session lasts about an hour, but the number of Limit Clearing or Balancing Processes done during that time might vary greatly. Some Processes are more complex than others and even the simplest Processes can take varying amounts of time to complete depending on the goal, the belief being changed and the individual needs of the client.

Q: What is PSYCH-K?
It is a direct way to change subconscious beliefs that perpetuate old, unwanted habits of thought, self-talk and behavior. It uses muscle testing + simple processes that help you communicate with your subconscious mind and change beliefs that limit your ability to realize your full potential in life.
Q: How can PSYCH-K help me?
Your subconscious programming establishes the limits of what you can achieve.
Affirmations and other self-deveolpment tools (including Psychotherapy) help effect change at the conscious level, but often they don’t TOTALLY change our previous patterns or release ALL of our wounds from past emotional or psychological trauma. To effect change in long held patterns of behavior and thought, we must change our subconscious programming which is held in the subconscious mind in the form of beliefs.
If you are experiencing limits in creating the life you desire, chances are you have a conflict between your conscious goals and your subconscious programming. This kind of conflict can show up in your relationships, self-esteem, career, prosperity, body image, physical health and more. PSYCH-K identifies and changes your limiting subconscious beliefs so they are more in alignment with your conscious goals, thereby releasing blocks to achieving those goals.

PSYCH-K is a set of processes evolving from years of brain research and hundreds of sessions with individuals and groups. It creates a receptive, “Whole-Brain State” that dramatically reduces resistance to change in the subconscious mind. The Kinesiological “muscle strength testing” plus PSYCH-K change processes (called “Balances” – see below) work as a kind of ‘touch screen interface’ to communicating with the subconscious mind and re-writing the subconscious beliefs that we’ve received or developed throughout our lives from family, authority figures, institutions, the culture at large and direct life experience.
Q: What is a PSYCH-K Balance or a Level UP Limit Clearing Process?
These processes involve different body positions or movements designed to create balanced communication between both hemispheres of the cerebral cortex. This “Whole-Brain State” is ideal for reprogramming the subconscious mind with new “self-enhancing” beliefs that support our goals. The facilitator uses muscle testing to determine the type of Balance your subconscious mind needs in order to access the old “self-limiting” beliefs and change them. Q: How is PSYCH-K different from Hypnotherapy?
(This answer is from a Certified PSYCH-K Instructor who is also a Certified Hypnotherapist)
Hypnosis places authority in the therapist, while PSYCH-K gives equal or greater authority to the partner (client).
Hypnosis usually requires a trance state, while PSYCH-K works without such a state. [The client is always consciously involved in the processes of PSYCH-K.]
Hypnosis usually has no permission protocols; it’s assumed to be helpful. In PSYCH-K there are always spiritual permission protocols, i.e., contact with your Higher-Self via muscle testing, so we ensure that your belief changes are in your highest and best good, and are not well intentioned, but misguided goals, that can actually make things worse, rather than better.
In hypnosis the partner or client must disclose often painful or embarrassing personal information. In PSYCH-K, this information can remain private if the partner prefers.
PSYCH-K is more of a team process between partner and facilitator, more “do with” rather than “do to.”
At least three hypnotherapists also trained in PSYCH-K say that they typically get the same or better results in half the time (or less) using PSYCH-K instead of hypnotherapy.
